Cartagena Old harbour with castle overlooking the harbour. Torrevieja Market Weekly market Friday morning. Near Cortes Valencianas, North Torrevieja. Torrevieja bursts with life in the summer season. Round the harbour there are many terraces and restaurants, cheap and less cheap. Also a daily evening market on the Paseo and Vista Allegre. This is the place to browse around and haggle over the price of a Louis Vuiton handbag (look alike), have your name engraved in a grain of rice or eat a real Brussels waffle. Children can have a nice time on the fairground with lots of different merry-go-rounds and other attractions. This market and fairground are only open on weekends in the wintertime.
